We are proud to celebrate our pupils’ outstanding Summer 2025 A-Level results, with A being the most commonly awarded grade, a value-add of almost two-thirds of a grade, and one quarter of pupils receiving A* or A grades in all of their subjects. Driven by pupils’ individual efforts and endeavour, and the inspiration and support of talented teachers, the College achieved 17% of grades at A*, 44% at A*–A grades, and 68% at A*–B. The Class of 2025 has secured 149 offers from Russell Group universities, with seven pupils receiving all five of their offers from these prestigious institutions. Pupils are now preparing to join leading universities such as Imperial College London, University College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), King’s College London, and the University of Manchester, alongside top destinations in the US and around the world, many with scholarships in hand.
The pursuit of the Arts at Brighton College is considered as an activity worthy of great dedication in its own right, but also as a vitally important vehicle to nurture the creativity, passion and individuality of each child at the College. Artistic endeavour will encourage our pupil body to be curious, courageous and original and in doing so will enliven and complement the academic life of the College in a very special way.
Each Arts Department has its own particular emphasis and philosophy but all work closely together, with commitment to the pursuit of excellence as well as provision for all.
At Brighton College, our departments work closely together to nurture creativity in all its forms—whether through Music, Drama, Art, or Design. This collaborative approach ensures that pupils are exposed to a wide range of creative opportunities from a young age, helping them to discover and develop their individual talents. Taking part in performances and artistic pursuits is seen as a rite of passage, but it’s also much more than that. These shared experiences bring pupils together across year groups, encouraging meaningful collaboration, mutual respect, and a deep sense of community. Through creativity, our pupils gain confidence, learn to express themselves, and form lasting connections with others.
