We are delighted to announce the appointment of our newly appointed Head Master, Mr Scott Carnochan. 

We are delighted to be celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results, with the most commonly awarded grade being a Grade 9, over half of all GCSEs graded 9 or 8 and almost three quarters graded 9 - 7.

The percentage of top grades achieved this year has almost doubled to those in 2019 (the most accurate comparison to this year's examination results), with 20% of A Levels awarded A* grades in 2023 compared with 11.5% in 2019.

We are celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results today with 38.5% of pupils securing top Grade 9s.

Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupils have once again achieved outstanding A Level results and have bettered the grades achieved in 2019, with more than half of the college’s pupils achieving A* to A grades and 73.7% securing A* to B grades in this year’s examinations.

The inaugural Abu Dhabi Young Musician Competition came to a spectacular conclusion on 24th March when 9 finalists in the advanced and intermediate categories, competed for the title of Abu Dhabi Young Musician. 

Our girls' squad, who were entered into the ADEK Sports Cup this month, beat The British School Al Khubairat 2-0 in the final at the Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium on 20th March 2022. 

From 8th to 15th March 2022, linguists from Year 7 to Year 11 took part in the 2022 BSME Languages Championships.

Some of our Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils recently took part in the Intermediate UKMT Maths Challenge.

At the end of January, 19 of our Year 11 and 12 pupils took part in the British Physics Olympiad Senior and Intermediate Challenges.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have won the Schools Compared Top Schools Award for Theatre, Dance, and the Performing Arts.

We are proud of our pupil Mohamed, who has recently participated in the second session of the Emirati Children’s Parliament in the Federal National Council.

Our pupils and staff were delighted to mark our 10 year anniversary. We were able to showcase our Choirs and Movement CCAs. As a community, we look forward to celebrating our outstanding achievements during the rest of this year.

Following on from announcing record A level results earlier this week, Brighton College Abu Dhabi is celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results with 33% of pupils securing top Grade 9s.

Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupils have once again achieved outstanding A Level results and have even beaten last year’s record haul of top grades, securing 85% A*-B grades in this year’s examinations. 

An Abu Dhabi pupil landed the top prize in an international school art competition after drawing inspiration from her love of nature.

Pupils at an Abu Dhabi school learnt about the challenges of travelling through space in a video call with a Nasa astronaut.

We are thrilled that our sister and founding school, Brighton College has been once again recognised as the highest ranked co-educational school in the United Kingdom by The Sunday Times. This follows their prestigious “School of the Decade” Award last year.

Congratulations to Diwen, who took his ABRSM examination in Piano and achieved a distinction.
