Brighton College

The Creative Arts

The College has quickly built a reputation across the capital for the quality of its creative and expressive arts performances, exhibitions and teaching. We are proud of this reputation and continue to invest heavily in the Arts. Our 600-seater Theatre, extensive Music department with recording studio, Drama studio, Dance studio, Art Gallery and large Art Studio spaces are of a world-class standard and allow our inspirational staff the opportunity to lead our talented pupils on a journey of self-discovery and self-expression.

Every pupil in Year 9 will study all of the Arts as part of their curriculum and in Year 10 they have a free choice over what Arts subjects they chose to study at GCSE with many pupils electing to study two or even three of the subjects listed below.

Pupils may also elect to study instrumental music lessons with individual lessons delivered throughout the day by our highly skilled team of Instrumental teachers. Dance classes after school as part of our extensive extra-curricular programme may also complement the study of Drama and/or PE at GCSE.
